Spring is officially here down in Aus – and we’ve cooked up some awesome brand new content for the Umis!!
We’ve added a brand new, pink coloured ‘Flower Froot’ – which contains 20 new flower treasures for your Umi to find & collect!!
After updating, you can claim a free flower when you register your umi on our website!!
Your Umi now has a 2% chance to find a pink flower froot instead of a regular treasure froot (orange base) – whether that be from a wild ‘daily’ froot, or from recycling!
As well as this, to raise funds for more animation work and downloadable content for the Umi, you can also buy flowers & mystery froot from our website! If you love mystery boxes, want to collect all 20, or just need that one favourite flower, you can find all of the DLC purchasable from our website here !
Currently, only 8 flowers are directly purchasable. We’ll be rotating which flowers are directly available in the shop – however all are discoverable from the random Mystery Flower Froots!
How to claim your Umi’s free flower 🌷
- Download the latest update for your Umi (from the wifi menu; you might need to update twice)
- “Check for update” again – it should show your Serial Number
- Register your Umi on your account to get a coupon code
- Add a flower froot from our website to your cart, and use the coupon to get 100% off
- Once purchased, send it to your umi from the “digital items” section of your account!
Umi Update Notes 1.3.3 – Flowers & Mystery Froots!! 🌻
- Added new pink-bottomed ‘flower froot’, containing 20 new flower treasures!
- 5 color variants each of Roses, Tulips, Sunflowers & Hibiscus (see the graphic for the full list)
- Added specific flowers & mystery flower froot available to purchase on the website!
- Free Gift ‘flower froot’ when you add your Umi to your account on our website!
- You can now purchase digital items on our shop !
- After purchasing, you can send the items to your Umi from your Account section
- After updating to the latest version, re-enter the wifi menu to download any digital items you sent!
- Recycling flowers yields a flower froot. Mixed recycling bins have proportional chance (e.g. 1 flower & 2 regular treasures has a ~33% chance of a flower froot and ~66% chance of a regular froot).
- Umi now have a ~2% chance of finding a flower froot, either on their daily wild froot or while recycling regular treasures.
- Umi now show the Ortomi logo while downloading updates
