What’s new in 4.3.2? 🔍
- Added menu, accessed with the rear switch!
- Switch positions changed! Now: Off – Menu – On
- Silent mode is now enabled inside of the menu instead of by the switch
- Control the menu by tapping on the top and side of the Ortomi
- New Scrapbook Menu:
- Set your Ortomi’s Name!
- See their favourite special animation (revealed over time)
- See your Ortomi’s battery percentage (removed old method of holding them upside-down to see)
- See your Ortomi’s friends list
- Added loops to special activities (reading; firework; sunglasses; swimming)
- Wireless friendship improvements!
- Added Friendship “conversations” with speech bubble
- Gen 4 can communicate with Umi!
- They can have conversations, & also read, snorkle, and watch fireworks together!
- Gen 4 will only discover each-other during the first 10 seconds from when they turn on.
- Switch multiple Gen-4 on at the same time to pair them, or switch a gen 4 on while an Umi is in the menu to pair them.
- Gen 4 friendship now consumes much less power – massive increase to battery life with friends connected
- Gen 4 now do their regular friendship interactions more often
- Workshop Improvements!
- New “Let My Ortomi Choose” button in the workshop!
- Now Gen4 doesn’t restart every edit!
- Add custom sounds to workshop expressions
- New logic for “how often should it play” for custom expressions. Set average time instead of weight
- New “Send logs to team” link in the menu – click this link if you’re having issues with your Ortomi and you’d like some help!
