I like that she made a beep beep sound and funny expression, loud enough to be heard, soft enough to not bothering me.
Jake is a great little friend! He travels a lot with me. He came in safely, it just took a bit but that’s because they come from Australia and I’m in the US! I plan to get at least one more Ortomi.

Bought a white one for my sisters’ kid after I gained my first for Christmas and a second thanks to an amazing member of the cubemunity. She is completely in love with mine so I cannot wait to give it to her for Christmas!
These little guys are so great, I take mine everywhere as moral support. They have their own little personalities and quirks, they have no AI in them at all and no way to spy on you (no cameras, no subscription service etc), which is a breath of fresh air since it feels like everything is trying to do that these days. Plus the creators are super nice and responsive so if anything does happen they’re always more than happy to help! 
Ortomi is very soothing. I think it is the cutest looking robot out there. It’s small but has great performance, I love it!

Our Story
Ortomi was created by two University students in Adelaide, Australia – dealing with the loneliness of everyday life. They set out to create a comforting, calming presence, to try and mimic the feeling of having a real pet by your side. The world changes when you no longer feel alone; when theres someone on your team; and when there’s a small beacon of positivity when everything else seems dark.
The first robots were fully hand made. They were designed, soldered, 3D-printed and assembled in a garage, and we were amazed by how much love and support we received from people all over the world.
Since then we’ve grown massively. We’ve produced over 10,000 robots, shipped to 75 different countries, and have made an impact on countless people struggling with loneliness and anxiety.
We’re continuously working with the community to improve our robots, and bring companionship to people who need it.
Works well, kinda boring. I put rubber feet on him so he stays on the car dashboard for car rides.
