Meet the all new Ortomi Umi – they’re adorable robot companions packed full of personality!
Interactions
Umi are sweet little creatures, with 100+ expressions and emotions that change dynamically over time. They react to petting, being picked up, prodding and much more! Their reactions change with their moods, like when they fall asleep, get bored or sad (6 moods total).
Their amazing little ears move with their expressions, react when you touch them, and are super satisfying to play with!
They don’t speak or listen, but they do make little chirps, beeps and boops with their reactions.
Umi also have unique personalities – that you’ll see revealed over time in their ‘Journal’. Discover over time their tendencies & dispositions for different moods and expressions!
While they enjoy being a desk companion robot, Umi are perfectly sized to fit in your pocket, and keep you company wherever you go!
Unlock Activities!
Umi will also discover new treasures over time, unlocking new activities! They’ll knit, read books and even scuba dive – with 8 different activities, and 32 different colored treasures to collect!
See treasures, control brightness, volume, and much more by pressing their rear button, and use their ears to navigate through the menu.
Software Updates
You can even download new software updates! Follow the steps to connect them to a WiFi network, and update directly through the menu – no computer needed!
Customisation
There are 20 different eye colors an Umi can have – they arrive with their favorite, but you can change it to whichever suits them best.
Each Umi is unique – they have two main personality traits which affect their tendencies to different moods and expressions, as well as their favorite treasures & colors!

Battery Life
Umi have a rechargeable battery that lasts around 10 hours of interactive play-time – but hold their button when they’re not in use and they’ll hibernate, lasting up to a week! They’re fully functional while on charge, which takes approximately 1.5 hours from empty.

We include a high quality, protective zip travel case, soft-silicon 75cm charging cable, instruction booklet & a few Ortomi stickers!
