A rough animated pong. I’m not too happy with this but I figure someone might enjoy it :).
EDIT: My Ortomi is here so I’ve managed to do some testing to work out why/if the white screen appears. I am still absolutely **stumped**. Files I use “raw” from asesprite (as .gif) sometimes work and sometimes don’t; files I export from asesprite, put into Piskel and then re-export sometimes work and sometimes don’t. Renaming the file doesn’t seem to do much either but I haven’t tested that as rigorously. Some of the files downloaded from Discord work, some of them don’t even though I have created them using the exact same process.
That being said: if you download the animation and export it into Piskel and then re-download it to your computer (even if I did this to create the versions you see here), that seems to work to get the file running as it should be on the Ortomi. Make sure you redownload it as a .gif. This is handy if you want to elongate the animations – I like them quite short and snappy but if you duplicate frames in Piskel, you can manually elongate or replicate the animation to have, say, the tape ejecting or a longer pause on the final frame.
